What Is National Scholarship 2023
National Scholarship 2023 is a program of the Ministry of Education of the Union Government. The aim of which is to financially support and encourage meritorious students across the country in their studies. It is a government initiative to provide financial assistance to students for pursuing higher education. Under this scholarship, meritorious students are given a scholarship (National Scholarship) of Rs. 10,000/- to 50,000/- every year.
Eligibility For National Scholarship 2023:
Students must meet certain criteria to apply for the National Scholarship 2023. For example-
1) The student must be a permanent citizen of India.
2) The annual income of the family should not be more than 2.5 lakh rupees.
3) Students should continue their studies from any government recognized school or college.
4) Must have 50% academic marks in the final examination.
Apply online by visiting the official website of the National Scholarship 2023. How to apply:
1) First go to https://Scholarships.gov.in.
2) Then click on the registration link there and register with your name, e-mail id and phone number.
3) Once the registration is completed, the user ID and password will be available. If you login with that, the online application form will appear.
4) After that the student has to fill the form with his own name, father’s name, address, date of birth, gender, educational qualification, marks obtained etc.
5) Finally, the application will be completed after uploading all the required documents and scanning the applicant’s own passport size photo and signature and clicking on the submit button.
Documents To Upload For National Scholership 2023:
All the required documents to be scanned and uploaded while applying for National Scholarship Scholarship are-
1) In case of application after Madhyamik, mark sheet of Madhikaam.
2) Mark sheet of higher secondary if applying after higher secondary.
3) Income certificate as proof of annual income of the family.
4) Aadhaar card as proof of citizenship of the country.
5) Recent color passport size photograph.
6) Applicant’s own signature.
Date of application:
The online application portal for National Scholarship 2023 is not open yet. Online application form is accepted for this scholarship every year in the month of August. That is, the application can be made from the month of August.
