Commercial roll-out of Reliance Jio GigaFiber / Jio Fiber broadband service will be on 5 September. Jio Fiber’s broadband plans will start from Rs 700 per month. In this plan, users will get a maximum speed of 100Mbps. Its plans will go up to Rs 10000 and the speed will be up to 1Gbps. At present, it is not known which speed will be available in which plan. On September 5, Jio will get information on completion of 3 years. Jasompani’s broadband service is currently running in beta testing in a few cities. If your society wants a connection to Jio Fiber in its locality, then the registration request should be approved. However, consumers can first check the availability of Jio Fiber in their locality. You can do this by calling the helpline of Jio.
Jio Fiber connections were earlier available under preview offers. For this, consumers had to pay a security fee of Rs 4500. In this, users got 100Mbps connection. However, if users are not part of the preview offer, they will need a new connection. For this, users have to register on Jio’s website and show interest on behalf of their locality. To register, customers have to go to the Jio Fiber website and book a high-speed Internet connection for their society.
For online connection of Jio Fiber, you must first select the location where you want Jio Fiber connection. Here you have to tell whether your location is home address or office address. OTP will come to you after filling the address, email, name and mobile number. You will have to enter it for verification. After verification, you will see a message on the website, stating that the company will contact you for additional information if needed.
Jio Fiber is still in its initial stage, so to provide internet service your society will need approval. After this is approved, the company will provide setup and the router will be installed at the given address of the user. With this, Jio Fiber users will also get fixed line phone service. This will give the user JioFixedVoice or Jio Home Phone service. For this, the user has to click on the recharge option on the MyJio app. Reliance Jio Fiber users will have to buy their landline goods and the company will give them a number for landline service.
